INTO THE WILD
Spring 2016 is a visual cornucopia that celebrates our love of adventure, exploration and travel. Using Colonel Percy Fawcett mysterious disappearance in Brazil’s Mato Grosso Jungle as a jumping off point, to the floral and fauna found within its wild terrain, this season was a leap into the unknown.
These images caught our imagination and started the creative process. From the beauty of the Colobura dirce butterfly’s wings – which became our new house print – to tribal mark making techniques of the indigenous Umutina warriors and Kayapo groups, we were inspired by the energy and authenticity of the patterns. The electric blues and saturated colours of the jungle energised the palette and jolted it to life.
We worked with the award-winning artist Konstantin Kakanias and collaborated with Gieves & Hawkes on an exclusive capsule.
Exploration isn’t a thing of the past as modern day adventurers Kenton Cool (Everest climber) Ben Saunders (polar explorer) and Ben Hammersley (Internet futurist) prove in our interview series launching in March 2016.
